Open call for ideas

The Opinion Festival 2022 open call for ideas takes place on the 1st to 20th of March 2022.

Anyone can submit ideas for the Opinion Festival program. If you have a topic that you think needs attention, question that needs deeper discussion, point of view or new knowledge that needs to be introduced then think it through and start here.

To be ready to submit an idea think about the following questions before you open the form:

• What is the title of your submitted debate?
• What is the purpose of this debate?
• Why should your topic speak to the people?

Planning your debate, you should consider the feedback from the Opinion Festival visitors. The visitors want to see people with different opinions at the debates to have a deeper and more interesting discussion. Although the actual topics are still important, the visitors also wish to hear and discuss about future. Regardless of the modesty of Estonians they want even bigger involvement in the discussions and new ways to have a say.

The open call for ideas starts on the 1st of March. The form is here, that you can use to send us your ideas. The open call ends on the 20th of March.

The received ideas are evaluated by the team of the Opinion Festival, which assembles thematic discussion areas from the selected ideas.
